The Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) by BSEB is an online platform designed to facilitate admission of students into Intermediate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational streams across colleges and schools affiliated with BSEB in Bihar’s 38 districts.
Students who have passed their 10th class or an equivalent exam via any other recognized national/state board can apply. The system excludes minority institutions and residential institutions.
OFSS Bihar
OFSS stands for Online Facilitation System for Students and it is a digital platform used primarily by educational boards or institutions to simplify and manage the admission process for students. OFSS allows students to apply online for admission to various courses or classes by submitting a common application form.
The system supports multiple institutes or colleges, letting students choose their preferred options in one place, enhancing transparency and convenience. Students should upload required documents, pay application fees online, and track merit lists and admission status through the platform.

Selection Process
- The selection process for OFSS Bihar Intermediate Admission 2026 is fully merit-based and conducted via an automated system.
- After students submit their online applications with a list of preferred colleges or schools, the OFSS processes all applications and generates selection lists based on student’s merit and their order of preferences.
- These selection lists are released in multiple rounds typically first, second, and third merit lists giving students several opportunities to secure admission.
- Once selected, students receive notifications via SMS and www.ofssbihar.net, where they can download their admission intimation letters.
- Students must then complete their admission by reporting to the allotted institution.
- Importantly, if a student secures a seat in a higher-preference college, they are no longer eligible for admission to any lower-preference choices.
- This transparent process ensures fair and efficient admissions to various streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, and Agriculture across Bihar’s government and recognized private schools and colleges.
